Ok, ok, I know you guys are gonna hate me, I don't blame you, I hate myself.
But I now have a huge problemo.

I un-hooked all of the cables from my mixer to my machine to move everything elsewhere, and I somehow hooked it up wrong.
When I record, I always put the piano on the first track. Well, After I hooked everything back up, the piano comes out of the 5th track! ALL the instruments are on different tracks! ARRGHHH!

I SWORE I wrote everything down, (actually had my wife do it while I called out numbers etc.) so it would be a snap to hook it back up.

Here's the biggie, can anyone tell me (SIMPLY) what goes where, back in the order it needs to be? (From the mixer to the recorder?) Dave originally told me and I followed it faithfully a few years ago.
I never thought I'd ever move this recorder, (so I wouldn't have to hook all the cables back!)

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks fellas!

Randal, do you have / need the M30 manual [with hookup examples]? I can post the link to it or send it on to you. Would that help?

There are a couple of ways to hook this system up. If you are using direct outs and the piano comes into channel one on the board the direct out should go to channel one on the tape machine. If you are using the buss outs, buss one (if hooked up "correctly") will feed BOTH channel one and channel five on the tape deck. In this case, the piano will show up on channel one if you press the buss one button on the first input of the board AND put track one in record mode on the deck.

Thanks guys!
I got it figured out!
My wife thought she would have to take me to the ER. LOL!

Again, thanks, and now I'm tracking!
