Tascam M-50 / routing Effects ?

Hi guys and girls,

I have a Tascam M-50 mixing desk, nothing special, but I like it.. very transparent.

but I cant figure out, how to route my FX to this thing, it has 8 channels and 8 buss'.

im more used to boards with FX sends/returns. never routed to Aux buss' before.
is it even possible ? I have a rack full of delays, chorus, Compressors, exc.. im just not sure how to patch these in.

Hey, Charlie.

Welcome.

Any send-type effects inputs can be connected to the aux 1~4 output jacks in the master section. You can connect the outputs of the effects units to any free line inputs on your channel strips. There are other options but let's start there.

Generally you would set the aux sends on each channel strip to POST fader.

Now...tell me what doesn't make sense with the above and we'll go from there.

hey sorry for the late reply. thank you very much for the reply. im very grateful.
I see now, the Aux's (green knobs) will increase the FX. im just wondering what to do with all these buss'
I have 8 of them, didn't know if I could patch FX right to a bus and send it from there as well.

Typically the pgm groups are used to feed your recorder.
