Hey guys.
I am having a time deciding on wither or not to buy a Tascam M-3500 24 channel desk with full monitoring bridge. I am working with a Yamaha GF24/12 at the moment and a presonus FP10. I am using the inserts (balanced i/o's) as send for the drum tracks to the Firepod. Problem is although the inserts are post EQ they are Pre-Fader. I work at a music store and have the chance to purchase this Tascam board that came in on trade. It is in mint condition, and I can get it for $450.00 US dollars. From what I have been reading that is a steal. Anyway before I can commit I was wondering If anyone knew if the direct outs were post fader and any other interesting facts about this mixing desk. I know that since it is a studio desk and not for live application like the GF24/12 I have it should be better for my situation. Anyway I eventually want to have 2 firepods linked to each other and record sub groups and direct outs, out of this desk. Basically is this a quality board and is it worth the $450.00?
Thanks Much,
Louis
