There is no phantom power on this mixer so, if you need that, you will have to add it externally with an adaptor which is readily available at most musical instrument retailers.
Beyond that, the 200 series of mixers were pretty sweet. I used to own the 8 and 16 channel versions of that board. Good sound quality, easy to use and not too noisy is you watch your levels carefully.
I've used an M216 and M208 as my main boards for over ten years -- no complaints. They still work like new. Phantom power would be a plus for some uses. I've always used outboard phantom power and mic pres anyway, so the lack of that feature doesn't hurt my feelings.
A big plus is the small size and weight. I regularly grab the M108 and throw it under my arm for location recording. The M200 series are very versatile and great sounding boards. They use the same op-amps as early Mackie boards from the same era. I paid full price for mine back in the day. At ebay prices it's hard to go wrong for what you're getting.
