OK perhaps you can help as im having major problems with the above equipment. For some reason the device keeps losing sync with my PC it is a regular problem and the audio drops out once it happens.
I have checked to see if there any IRQ sharing(none),i have replaced the firewire cable(still same problem),i have installed the 1.60 drivers which didn't make a difference from 1.5.
My PC spec ASUS P5B-E motherboard
Intel Core 2DUO E4300 O/Clocked(i might bring that down to see if its a over clock issue)
4 GIG of RAM
NVIDIA 7900 GS graphics
Behringer BCR2000
M Audio Evolution MK 361C keyboard
4 HDD's 2 samsung 1 western digital and a Raptor 10,000 RPM drive
OS is XP SP2(its not on the net)

What are you using for firewire from the comp?

Given the date of this post I may be a little late ...but for anyone esle.
I had the same problem on XP, with the same kinda spec's.
And the cure - let it "warm up"...for about 15- 20 min's to be sure.
After that it's all good....but wierd

p.s I've read MAC's don't have this issue (try looking up why firewire is caller 1394 on Mico$oft systems)
