tascam dv ra 1000 mastering recorder!!!

i'm hearing som really impressive reviews about this product and its usefullness especially for the final mastering process ( using the onboard eq ,compression ) .. if anyone has one of these units i'd love som feedback as i'm seriously considering making the purchase...

Most of what I have to say about it is HERE. I think it rocks. Although I have to admit that my usage is fairly limited against those who would mix to them.

Haven't heard much about the DSP... A couple people I know compared it to the DSP on the Masterlink (which means it's basically useless except for "quick 'n dirty" processing).
