TASCAM DP-02 Digital Portastudio.

Hey guys, I was wondering if any one has any experience with the TASCAM DP-02 Digital Portastudio. I have till tomorrow to take my current digital recorder back and I'm leaning towards the Tascam. Has anyone had any problems with this device? Is it worth the $500? How complex is it to use? Thanks for the help!
 
really great. buy it! easy to use and basically the perfect 16-bit digital 8 track!
 
can't go wrong with it. Best 8 track I;ve ever used. It's only 16-bit, but if you know how to get the best out of your other equipment, you can still get amazing sounding recordings with it. Then, just transfer to PC via usb to mix / master it all properly.
 
And im new here and cannot see how to start my own posts ?!?!?!?
 
YES YOU CAN MAKE RECORDS WITH THIS MACHINE ALONE !! Now all the newer ones are looking cheaper and cheaper !!
 
I'm finally learning how to operate my Tascam DP-02. There are some good tutorials. Just google Tascam DP-02 tutorials and find one that fits where you are at. Set up and over view is a good start
