I believe I'm following the instructions exactly but am only getting a mono bounce to the 2 tracks I'm bouncing to.
I want to do something very simple. I have 2 percussion tracks that I want to pan left & right on the beat and bounce to 2 tracks.
I'm pushing the bounce key until it lights, then arming the 2 tracks that are getting the mix (bounce).
I start recording and pan the drums left & right from beginning to end. On playback, I mute the original drum tracks and play back the 2 tracks I bounced to and they're both in perfectly centered mono....no panning at all.
I tried an experiment and re-recorded the bounce with one drum panned far left and the other far right. When I play back, again I get mono in the 2 tracks I bounced to.
I must be missing something simple. Please let me know what it is.
thanx much

Update:
I figured it out. It was a simple as panning the newly bounced tracks far left and far right
