Tascam DP-01/DP-01FX

Hi, can someone tell me how to sort out this problem, when I start up the 8 track it says "Srest Err :12" please power off. So I power off and start up again but the same thing appears, is there a way round this or do I need to git rid and buy another, which I can't afford so I do hope there's someone out there who can help...

It appears its a power supply issue acording to tascam. a new power supply may fix the problem. it has worked for others in another forum
