I'm not sure how to connected the da38's to the tascam m1600 24 mixer. I have 3no da38's and someone advised me to get some "D sub connectors 25 pin. Please advise.
Do your DA38's have analog or digital D-sub I/O connectors on the back?
If they are analog, they'll easily connect to the M-1600/24. You'll need 6 Dsub-to-Dsub ANALOG Audio cables. I have an M-1600/24 hooked to a Tascam MX2424, and got my cables from Washington Professional (check the web & call them and speak with Colin) for about $20 each. These cables are a very good and secure way of hooking up audio equipment...they each carry 8 channels of balanced audio in or out.
A friend has been looking for an M-1600/24, so please let me know if you know of one available.
