Hello all,
due to defective pre-amps of my current Tascam 122 I'm looking for a new audio interface. I want a small step up in terms of the possibilities. I also wants to be able to DJ with my interface and the 122 only have a single stereo output so I can't cue a track in my headphone.
The Tascam 144 has 2 stereo outputs, but I read many reports of bad drivers on new Windows systems. Since I want to upgrade my computer within the next two years, I'd rather not take the risk that no proper drivers are brought out. So I'm looking for alternatives.
The forum has a lot of information but I can't find anything on the ESI U 46 XL. It's cheaper than the Tascam 144 and has enough outputs for DJing. It has no digital and MIDI inputs and outputs but it does not matter. Has anyone experience with this interface?
The M-Audio Fast Track Pro is also an option but not everybody is all that happy bout it.
Maybe any other alternatives?
