Hi

I have just bought a Tascam 788 and am learning (very slowly) what it can do!

Is there any way I can transfer my recordings to a computer without using a CD writer?

Any comments/suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks

Steve

You need the right cable config. and some type of software to import it to. It can be saved as a wave file. Perhaps a demo of cool edit pro or sound forge would work fine.

In fact the best thing to do is a digital transfer if you have an audio card with spdif inputs.

I have a Creative Soundblaster card which I am hoping to upgrade soon. I have Sound Forge on the computer so that should be ok.

Thanks for your reply

I would consider getting something like the Audiophile 24/96 for your transfers. A low priced card with spdif ins. Sometimes you can pick em up off ebay NEW for as little as $100
