Tascam 788 Quicky..

hey all,
I heard that the 788 was going to be updated to allow file transfer's between a pc.... has this happened as of yet? or likely to happen? i really like the look of the 788, but would rely on the pc to do more of the actual 'editing'.....
 
Thanks for the info, im a little unsure still....... it doesnt actually tell you how to transfer them.... just how to set th e788 up ready.......... can anyone expand this any further?
