OK, here's how you get it tracking to 4 tracks through ins 1-4:
on the Monitor strip turn on groups 1-2 and 3-4, turn their level knobs up to whatever (75% for me).
On the display buttons (above the jog dial) set to "scene".
Now on the mixer matrix, for input press "mic", then select channels 1-4 (buttons under the display) for each input channel.
To assign the active channels to tape tracks press "group 1" button then press channel 1, then "group 2 and channel 2. same for groups 3 and 4.
To arm the tracks for recording press the "record function" buttons.
The mixer matrix should look like this:
group1:=
group2:....=
group3:.......=
group4:.........=
mic:.....= = = =
...........1 2 3 4
When you're done recording, change the channel input from mic to tape to monitor playback.
NOTE: I don't actually have a manual either! This is just how I've got it to work; through trial and error and lots of button bashing! I still don't know how to save scene data on it (I've asked on this forum before but never found the answer). ps, if anyone reading this knows the answer, please for the love of Jebus tell me or I'll have to make another thread about it.
Good luck Dishwasher, hope you figure it out.
