I have been using this 8track to make music for the past year, and until now took for granted how well it had been holding up. Just recently I have noticed a buzz in my setup -- (which involves a handful of guitar pedals running to the tascam imput) -- so there are many connections between things, and the wires are not in prime condition anymore -- all of this makes it hard to pinpoint the source, not to mention - other electronic interference like the computer/lights etc -- I isolated the tascam488 in a different room today with no wires connected to it-- just headphones and turning up the volume and found that there was definately a significant buzz within the unit.. maybe a grounding problem??? Any suggestions on what to do?? I really want to start writing some music again-- but this is really sapping the energy out of me.
