tascam 424 + soundcraft m8

hi!

it is about year i am recording demos via tascam 238 deck + my soundcraft m8 mixer. but now i bought tascam 424 cause want to experiment little with 4 track portastudios. ok so quastion can sounds pretty lame, but anyway no one i asked could give me an answer - is it possible to connect that tascam 424 to my soundcraft m8? cause i really need phantome power and other good stuff that portastudio doesnt have.

just connect the outputs of the channels into the inputs of the tape recorder. to hear the tape returns and to mix, once your finished recording, take the outputs of the recorder back into the input channels of the mixer and then when you ready to print your mix to whatever medium, use the main mix outs to whateverr your recording to.
