Hi all,
I've been enjoying my 388's (I have 2). I had one hooked up to a patchbay in my control room. I was recording and overdubbing with 38 hooked through the patch bay to the 388. I had the outputs of the 38 going through the patchbay into the line ins on the 388. I caused a terrible feedback loop and the next thing I knew there was no sound from the head phones.
I've been going through the steps to figure out what I damaged, but haven't come upon it. I passed signal through the stereo ins and aux and effect returns and sound comes through the headphones. I then played the tape in rmx mixdown and with stereo on couldn't get signal in the phones. However, I was able to hear a signal loud and clear with both aux and eff switched on and the sends up on each track. There is no stereo meter response when I pass a signal through mic inputs. Any Ideas?
Thanks!
