Hi, I'm looking to purchase my first reel of tape for my recently acquired Tascam 388 and I wanted to make sure I was looking at the right reel for the machine. The manual specifies that you need "E|A center (small hub)" 7-in reels, 1.0 mil and 1800 feet. I was looking at the RMGI-EMTEC LPR35, which is 1/4" x 1800' but I can't tell whether the hub is the right size. Could someone point me in the right direction? Would love to get started, thanks.

Yeah its the right size. 7-inch reels containing tape that is acceptable to use on the 388 or any other 7-inch audio tape format are the right size hub. For all practical purposes when looking at audio tape you're only concerned with reel size... 5", 7", 10-5", etc.
