I need a little assistance Gents,
I just purchased an RC-71 remote to use with a 38, . . and unfortunately, when I plug the remote in, . the remote doesn't function, . .and no lights on the remote. . is there a switch, or button that needs to be engaged to allow the remote to work, . . or when I plug it in should the remote automatically light up, and function.

If not, is there anyway to determine whether or not the remote is bad, or if the the plug on the 38? Thanks guys

No; Yes; Yes.

Yes,... buy a 32/34/34B, 234 or 246 & test it. :eek: ;)

Damn! I always get boned on these things

Well, I decided to go back to the drawing board, and give it one more shot! The good news is that, . . I lucked out! The remote works!!! I'm guessing that there was some dust or a light coat of corrosion that built up on the pins of the 38 input plug, . and that after a few times of plugging it in and out, . .it finally made contact!

Anyway, . . it works. Thanks Dave ;)

Plug away!

It's good practice in the studio, & makes for a strong marriage & family life!;)

Doodle = verb to draw pictures or patterns while thinking about something else or when you are bored:

Doddle = n : an easy task

:p

Also the dub-in pedal would be a great item for a guitar player! Because you can just stomp in when you are ready, instead of having to click on the rc-71!

I would like both eventually.
