im pissed off with my vf16, mainly coz of the trouble im havin tryn to get the tracks onto the p.c. ive bought a lot of software in the last while and ive not been able to use it
so ive decided to buy a new recorder, i want as many tracks as i can get,
usb compatible, good sound quality, im willing to over look fx's as long as the reverb and delay are decent enough for good vocal(i will be doing all my mixing and mastering on the p.c.), cdr would be cool for a quick burn but not essential again i will be using the p.c., good reliability i will be on the go a lot with the unit recording live and in other locations than my own studio(laugh)
my price range is a grand(euro)
ive looked at a few and the most appealing is the tascam 2488...
anyone ere got one, what are the good and bad points of this unit,
is it easy to transfer tracks to the p.c. via usb...
is there any other good recorders in the g(euro) price range that ye can recommend...
nice one...
