Tascam 246 Track 1

Hi - New to this forum.
I have a Tascam 246 (great machine) and recently track 1 will no longer record or play back audio on recordings I’ve made. I do get a signal through channel 1 and the meter moves when playin Bass DI into it, but monitor or pgm doesn’t move the meter in playback mode. Have yet to test with pre recorded tape. I have replaced tires/Belts/cleaned heads.

Any ideas what’s going on here? Located in Boston. Thanks!
 
I’d say check your reassembly work first could have a loose wire. If all is well try changing the pcb channel strip to see if it’s a problem with the actual channel strip if that’s not the Problem google Audio Pro Z I think they’re in Cambridge but super useful and fair work.
