Tascam 244 transport problem

Greetings,
Have a 244 and the transport stays in play mode.
Inside next to the capstan flywheel under the belt bridge
an attinuator pot and cog run the heads to the tape.
Attached to the pot is a finger guide that follows the cog
to change the direction of the transport motor.
I broke the finger, but repaired it.
Now I don't know where to re-set this finger.
If I could see a photo of the unit with the back off,
this would be the clincher.

thanks and YES! am aware of that! but what is this part and where do you get it? Its that little thing above the black cog in the pic above. the little section like a finger that poins down into the cog seems to have broken off. any adive tutorials on this much appreciated!?

I had the same problem with my 244 and if someone is interested i can post a tutorial on how to fix this, but the original post is a way too old.
