I received these as a Christmas gift from the wife and kids and man are these ever nice! The sound quality is superb; crisp highs, clean mids and tight bass. The S8's are replacing Yamaha NS-10M's so if you're familiar with these then you'll know what I mean when I say to hear bass is a new experience LOL! Mackie has done a great job with this design and despite being manufactured in China (I bit my tongue) the quality is actually quite good.
