Tannoy Reveal Actives... pros and cons?

Hi folks
Still looking at ref monitors. I can get a pair of Reveal Actives here for about A$1500. Can anybody give me any pros and cons about these babies?

Have you actually heard them yourself cause ultimately it's your decision. I have heard them in a friend's studio and on that basis have just ordered a set of passives.

Where will you be buying from, i.e. are they in stock at the store because the importers wont have new stock for a couple of weeks.

Living in country Victoria it's nearly impossible to actually hear the monitors first. I'm relying on advice from good friends and what I read on forums like this.
Two weeks away is no probs. I've got to sell a mixer before I can afford them first LOL.

I like my Tannoy Reveal Actives. You learn pretty quickly how to avoid too high levels of bass, which is the only problem I've ever had with them.
