Tannoy NFM-8

I'd like to get some input/opinions on the quality of the Tannoy NFM-8 nearfield monitors. I'm looking for another set of nearfields to give me an accurate reference. I also have a set of Yamaha NS-10M Studio and Alesis Monitor Ones. I am looking for something to compliment them for more nearfield reference. Any help is appreciated.

I've have little expirience (but some) with these tannoy's. I myself have the system 12 dtmII (same timeperiod only bigger version) I would never trade them for anything. although these thingies are somewhat old, tannoy stands for professionel reference, and cannot be compared to brands like alesis. If they are at the right price, you would regret buying them. remember that tastes differ, and I can only speak for myself. I really like tannoy. For nearfield the gods have chosen KRK for my studio-nearfields, but if I had to buy again I would buy tannoy.
