i go by the rap name( sur.inge)pronounced syringe
i am a rapper that has made about three albums worth of music
in the past three years,,i have been rapping since i was very young
i would say for about fifteen years,,,,i have done shows,,,and moved records
in a small local market of oklahoma where im from,,,i have videos on youtube under my group name :the stronghold: or sthd,,,or stronghold 918
i have alot of experince making very engaging songs with a positive message
not the same subject matter as most songs you hear on the radio,,but every bit as
lyrically appealing as most of them,have performed on the same bill as hate breed,,terror,,the roots and many more,,,,i am a writer by nature,,and have had an account at homerecording.com for many years,,,i own and have run one of the best sounding homes studios in my city,,,everybody records here,,,,and have been on the technical side for a while,,,,,this is my third setup,,,
so anybody have questions feel free to ask,,,

i have been rapping mostly,,and mixing my own tracks,,,
i do not make any beats,,,i have before,,sampled some commodors
banged out a few riffs on the korg,,played the drums on th akai,,and mixed it on
a roland composer,,,so i know a little,but,, that was a long time ago,,,,i remember
it was dope,,,i looking to get into beat making again,,,i looking for a way to get started
learning to program different drum patterns,,,on whatever drum machine,,cpu,,or hardware,,,just really get a good knowledge base on hip hop beat making,,,sampling
drums,,, keys,,bass lines,,,,i have listened to and are well versed in the works of all relevent artist from alot of eras,,,genres as well,,,i lean more towards the purist like jdilla(the best RIP ) talib kweli,,lupe,,,pete rock,,,

in a nutshell,,,,,im asking for guidence in hip hop production,,,to get me started in the right direction thats all,,,any sites or advice,,,or techniques will be apreiciated,,,i will be on the site to answer questions and post music from now on,,,,thank you
