I just finished tracking this out today. I took a half hour to mix it with far from fresh ears and I am sure a lot will need to change. If anyone could listen and give some input on where to start making improvements it would be awesome.
Thanks.

The composition of the song was really cool. I personally would lower the level of the synths just a little bit.

Yea that would probably help now that I am listening to it again. Thanks for the input. I feel like the acoustic could use work too, maybe eq or something. I'll post it again with some changes. Thanks again.

That was cool. I like the flow of the song -how it built, and then the "scenery" kept changing with the drums and guitar. It wasn't too repetitive because you kept it moving, and interesting. I liked the little "tink-tink" (probably not the right description for it) sound at the end.

Thanks guys. It's cool getting opinions that actually have reasoning behind them lol. I have been making a few changes and when it's done I'll post the newer version.

Very cool song. Like others have touched on, great job making things move subtly. Keeps it interesting. yes, a bit less synth would be good. can't wait to hear the new mix!

Hey Fitz,

Cool tune. I agree with what everyone above me has said...the tune seems fresh throughout and I like the subtle changes. Like you said, I think the acoustic part could use a change, most likely EQ. Look forward to hearing the updated version.

hey guys i have the new version. i added some vocals in one part at the end. being i am not much of a singer it's just one line i thought sounded cool (that may be a little out of tune). i made some changes to the mix and the eq on the guitar so let me know how it compares to the other one and sounds in general.
thanks for the feedback.
See you in the funny papers.mp3 - 4.54MB
