My fault is clear as water but i cannot resist to share my stupid error:rolleyes:

i spent the last 3 nights in 'cause of a bad sounding hihat on my recording. What was the problem: i used my tc m-one Reverb as system effect through aux send/return and forgot to eliminate the dry signal of the processor. so i got the original signal thru my mixer channel and a slightly delayed signal (only a few ms) thru my digital reverb. The resulting phase problems are only visible at the high parts of the drums - bass came clear and strong when putting reverb on it (what i usually not do).

so, a little question to the pro's:
should i
a) only let the wet signal pass thru the reverb and use my reverb as system effect
or
b) switch the mixer channel to post fader not routed to out and adjust the dry/wet ratio on the reverb. => reverb used as insert

thx in advance,
Mark

I'm not 100% I understood your problem from your post.
If I did, then here is what you should do.

Set the fader to post. Set the input gain of your effect at unity gain. Set the send controls to what you like per channal. Use the master send controls to control your levels going to the effect and not from the effect itself. Set the effect unit to wet only and use the channal direct sound to apply the dry part or else you'll have phase problems.

thx shailat!
thats exactly how i finaly fixed my problem.
