Hi. I was having newbie-type trouble setting up my evolution 249c midi keyboard to contrtol vst instrument controls and figured out how to map the midi controller to the vst controls from lists of midi continuous controller numbers, eg on the model-e.
however, one list I found for the steinberg neon only lists two midi controller numbers (cutoff and resonance) but has a big list of hex values (sysex parameters - the doucument is at

What is sysex and what does it do, and can I use this hex values to somehow map my keyboard controller on to the Neon controls, etc?
