I'm producing rap beats with the triton rack, motif 6 and proteus 2000. What are the best way to record these synths? Mono or Stereo? I listen the sounds in mono it doesn't sound as crisp. Synth drums are normally pan out in the stereo field. How should I record the synth drums? I have been recording everything in mono and making my own stereo field. Please help me out.

Stick with mono unless you have some type of swishing sound going from one speaker to another...

I normally record my drums on seperate tracks kick, snare , hi hat, etc there easier the place in the "stereo field" that way.

Thanx a lot. I normally record everything mono except for certain sounds.
