Well, I've followed the instructions thoroughly and after multiple reboots, I've given up!

I have two computers - one AMD, one Intel. The AMD has a Firewire 410 installed, and the Intel has an Echo Mia. Both cards are working perfectly on their own. The AMD box has V-Stack 1.2, and the Intel box has Nuendo 3.2. The thought is to load plugins on the AMD box and have master control in Nuendo.

Before connecting any cables, I've setup the 410's control panel with a sync source of "external - coaxial." In the Mia's control panel, the sync is set to Internal. Everything else is default.

...then I connected two cables - the spdif out of the 410 to the input on the mia, and the spdif in of the 410 to the out of the mia...

On the front of the 410, the SPDIF In has a green light. The Out does not.
In the Mia's control panel, there is a green light next to both "Internal" and "SPDIF."

So I load Nuendo, I load V-Stack, and on both computers, goto Device Setup->VST System Link:

In Nuendo - ASIO In = 1 Mia analog 1, and ASIO Out = 1 Mia virtual 1/2.
In V-Stack - ASIO In = Analog In 1, and ASIO Out = Analog Out 1/2 L
(Is this correct? Should these be set to SPDIF?)

...and click Active. The T flashes once on each, and that's it. No devices appear in the window.

Any thoughts? Am I missing something?
