I am trying to transfer some tracks from my Boss BR-8 recorder to Sonar. I've posted on this a while back. I'm back at it now. I've not had good luck using the Br-8 as the master to sync up with sonar. This is the only way to hook it up since the br-8 only has midi out. Now, I did get sonar to record from the boss, but the sync was all messed up. Then once I got more than three tracks down it would play back at weird speeds and the tracks didn't appear to line up in the track view. Then dropouts. I never get dropouts normally. Basically I'm hoping someone has done this. There are settings in the br-8 for it's midi out. Should I select MTC or MMC? How do I set up Sonar to accept the midi info? Audio-wise I'm just running out from the analog stereo outs on the boss to my audiophile 2496. therefore I can only transfer two tracks at a time, therefore the need for sync. Any help very appreciated. Thanks fellas.
