Sync some gear without an expensive master clock?

"Hi, I'm in Delaware."
I'm trying to see if there's any way to sync 3 pieces of gear I have without spending a fortune on a master clock. I have a ProFire 2626, which has word clock in/out and ADAT in/out, a Presonus Digimax D8, which has only ADAT out and wordclock in, and a MOTU 2408 mk2, which has wordclock in/out and ADAT in/out. As I understand it, daisy-chaining word clock is a bad idea. Does that also apply to ADAT signals? If not, I might be able to use the Presonus as master, with the ADAT output going to the 2408, then the output of that same ADAT channel to one of the ProFire's ADAT ins and another output from the 2408 going to the other one, giving me access to the 8 analog ins on the 2408. That's assuming the 2408 can sync to the Presonus and just pass that all through on the ADAT, which I'm not sure about (having not actually used the 2408 before). And I'm assuming you can't just split the wordclock out of the ProFire.
