Sync issues Tascam MTS 1000 Midiizer to the Tascam 238

Hello I'm trying to sync this Midiizer to my Tascam 238 no luck, I configured the cable's pins to match the pin sheet on the back of the manual, it doesn't do anything. The 238 ext sync light just blinks like it's not recieving anything at all is there any other type of documents out there that you know of. Or do you know what the problem might be? Please help if you can thanks.

Hi all, I have read thread upon thread (and not just here) regarding the possibilities of locking x2 syncaset 238's together but not once have I read of a success? Has anyone ever actually done it and what was the result? Did it work fine and up to all expectations? Did it exceed expectations...

There are a few things that could be causing the sync issues between your Midiizer and Tascam 238. Firstly, make sure that the cable is properly connected to both devices - the MIDI In and MIDI Out ports on the Midiizer, and the EXT SYNC port on the Tascam 238. Also, make sure that both devices are set to the same MIDI Channel (1-16). If everything is connected and set up correctly, but you're still not getting any sound or synchronization between the devices, it may be a problem with your equipment.
