Symetrix ? Compressor, Para EQ, Preamp ...

Anyone have experience with Symetrix equipment ? It looks rugged, and has excellent specs. But I hesitate to buy anything without user feedback. I am particularly interested in the Dual Compressor, and the Parametric equalizer. The mike pre looks interesting too. They are all reasonably priced. Not cheap, but not high $$.

Any experience or feedback appreciated.

Worth Looking Into

I've not delt much at all with their comps but have used their stereo graphics and an older 4-channel gate of theirs quite a bit in the past and they were nice solid units you can always depend-on; I'm pretty sure that goes for Symetrix in general.

Sound-wise, I find their pre not quite or only as good as Mackie pres. In general, for Symetrix sound-wise, I kinda consider them pretty neutral; definitely not colored, but definitely not trasparent.

Sound quality-wise, well, it's typical to find Symetrix in all different studio levels.

Parametric EQ? Well, I myself am hoping for the new Speck ASC http://www.speck.com/preview/asc.shtml AND the new FMR RNEQ once it comes-out. I've been holding-out on any eq for these.
