Surround Sound Setup?

I have a post about this but I feel like I needed to start a clean one because information has changed.

I have a Hercules Game Theatre XP card with an external rack. I have a ton of options for playback - Front, Subwoofer, Surround and a couple more but I forgot. Im at work right now, but in the cards setup menu, I have the option of only 2 speakers selected for outputs, because I dont have a surround sound setup.

Heres whats happening: My Wav slider on the winders mixer isnt doing anything. But only the slider that is labeled Front. And this goes with the Master slider.

The sound is weak and I cant get any power because it lacks volume. Is there any reason only the "Front" Slider would be enabled? And why the Wav slider isnt doing anything?

I double checked all the mute and selected check marks and they all look fine.

That's a tough one without knowing that card. Does it play everything that crappy or just if you try to hook up to the line in?

Make sure you downloaded the latest drivers. That is always the first thing to check.
