Superlux R102 ribbon mic?

...any of the "phantom powered" ribbon mics (such as this Superlux) will cure your gain issues as mentioned in your Heil post thread...I have the Karma K6 ribbon mic (also phantom powered) and it's a huge improvement over the non-powered ribbon mics...probably worth a look...;)

Any other experiences with this mic out there?
 
I once bought a superlux product...and it had a rattle in it...so I brought it back...it didnt sound that bad otherwise.
 
I have a Superlux CM8HD LDC...it's not bad at any price. For the money it's actually very good. Avlex, Superlux and MiPro are one of the best of the budget-priced manufacturers out there.

Superlux R102 Ribbon

Hi, I Just tested the R102 in the studio and was very impressed with the lovely low end ribbons are known for and of how little pre amp is required visit www.audiohipster.com for a sample, this mic is way more usable then other well known ribbons. Doyen
