Does anyone have any expirience with Superlux microphones? I mean the CM series. Are they good, bad, worth the money...? I'd use them on vocals.

OK, a bit boomy and there's a strange quality on the low mids that seems to make my voice 'honk'. But, for $39, it'll do for me.

this is probably the cheapest Superlux mic.. I meant the CM series (h8ch/d...)

The CM series start at about $100. I haven't used one personally, but if you go here

http://www.superlux.us/

There's a sound sample at the bottom middle of the page. Don't know how accurate it is.

I've used Superlux dynamics and found them useful. Mostly on drums.

My bad; I've a SuperluxECO H-6A . Still, not bad for 39 bucks off Ebay.

I use 2 types.

I use a CM-H8A for vocals and a room electric guitar mic.
I use the SMK-H8K matched pair for drum overheads.
These are my first condensers so I can't compare to anything else. I have a MP3 that I used them on. When I find a place to upload it, I'll post a link.
The mics went into a DMP-3 ~~~> Delta 1010 ~~~~> Sonar.

Jay...
