Can anyone recommend a plugin for Sonar that will take a mono signal and split it into a super wide stereo signal, without delay, phase or artifacts? How bout one for Reason?

Thanks in advance.

There's really no such thing. To create a pseudo stereo image, you need to manipulate the time and/or phase of two identical signals. Then only other option is to double track.

mda Stereo. Google it, it's free. It uses delay/Haas effect but I notice no noticeable artifacts and it sounds fine in mono.

Clone the track, pan one hard left and the other hard right. Flip the phase on one of them. This will be super wide, but it will disappear completely if it ever gets played in mono. :)

+1 on the MDA stereo plug. Changes a mono file to believable stereo. It's surprising how good it sounds. Excellent mono compatibility.
