Hi I´m Leo from Germany,
It has become a djient etude. I put everything in the service of the song
Of course it goes to the point from time to time.
The song took quite a bit of time. The clean solos are 4 finger tappings.
Legatos were used in combination with my appeggis.
There are also longruns.
And I explicitly made sure that nothing mulled etc. etc. in the mix. I have set safety slowcuts everywhere, which is essential for the low tunings. I have, to prevent overlaps, sidechains in the bass, kick, strings etc. carried out!
When mastering, I checked all tapes for completeness and finally had Gullfoss check them again. It was all there where it belongs! A compressor was not used at all. When recording, I paid attention to everything. Each rhythm track was exactly doubled and cross-reverberated at the end.
