very cool-I like all your stuff-you're a pretty sure bet for my listening pleasure....Did you do anything special to get those rim shots to come through?-Ive had problems-when the drummer switches from reg snare to rim shots....Man this is begging for some laid back bass-maybe going to fuzz bass in the fast section...maybe not...did i hear some kind of noise at :59?-didnt notice it till 3rd listen....anyway nice tune-voice sounds good and good performance...really liked the switch to the fast section.

I haven't been participating very well on the feedback side of things in the clinic. I will.

shoot man you've been here since 99-dont sweat it...

nice dynamic.. when it kicked in @2 I didnt have to jump for the volume, it was smooth.. really great change/part.. lots of air in this mix.. even @128 this sounds sweet.. maybe the drums at the end seemed a little behind, but there is a King's X song that sounds the same way.. everyone of these Sunday tunes seems to be better than the last! look forward to next Sunday..

Another great one. At 2:10 i was ready to stop the player...then bam..yeah i like that break alot. Good one Emeric, you gotta at least finish the year out with these sunday tunes man.

Another good one. This is gonna be a great collection of tunage.
I didn't care for the snare sound too much. The change at about 2 minutes picks things up but I still don't like the snare sound much.

Hey Em,
...Cool stuff man! I agree w/ the space comment. Your recordings always sound so simple and free of muck. ....As if you arent using too many tracks....even if you are. I dont mind the snare, sounds ok to me. The Kings X comparison that Sam brought up is an interesting one. Have you ever listened to "Gretchen goes to Nebraska"? I think you would like that.

Cool stuff man,

Stratomaster - I think I will add some bass to this, it could really use it for sure. As for the rimshots, nothing special no, SM57 pointed near the rim, about 6" over. Yes you did here some noise at 0:59. I think the drummer dropped a stick and picked it up again. Thanks for listening.

B.SABBATH - I guess I should check out this Kings X band, I don't think I've heard their tunes. I think you mentioned them before on another tune I posted. Thanks for the listen, I noticed you've posted a few lately, will get around to checking them out.

David - Well I'd like to get two more Sunday tunes and call it a day. Take a few errant tunes and stick it all together for a 10 song CD. Appreciate the listen.

Lt. Bob - The snare aint the greatest sounding, it's been awhile since I recorded drums and didn't spend any time tuning it. Guess I should of. I bought drummagog awhile ago, I could mess around with sample replace and see. Thanks Lt.

Guernica. No I've never heard that tune. I'll have to look into this King X band eventually. Appreciate the feedback.

batting a thousand!!

i've liked all of these!!!!!!!!! and this one is no exception!! i really like where the tune went, it was a good ride!!

thank's man

peace

Holy crap, Emeric!

That sounded downright commercial! Sheesh! Spin it up, top of the pops!

loved the tune...

the piano track sounds great with the laid-back drumming..not crazy about the bass drum sound though...it sounds a bit dead..

great change of tempo too around the 2 minute mark..

gonna listen to the rest of the 'sunday series' when i get a chance..really great stuff man

Im an older cat so my references are a little older and different than a lot of the folks but... that mode you been building on over the last few tunes I`ve listened to gives me visions of something really big developing with all of it bridged leading up to a something big and tall, spreading.... I used to listen to Emerson lake and Palmer quite a lot, I sorta get that feeling . I really like how phat and woody that piano sounds too.

Love the wailing synth in the outro... the jazzy drumming was really cool... maybe the snare sounds bad because it's 1) hit too lightly 2) too low in the mix? Because, otherwise... it sounds like a good drum to me (the Lt. knows his stuff, tho). My snares always sound like sh** :( yours sounds better than sh** :) (needs more "crack" tho...)

"Try to see it's just a holiday"... hmm... NOT a Christmas reference? :D Coincidence, eh. Eh.

Nice job, from the Hoser who would be Brit :) (eh... the Lennon references... singing in British accents, etc...)

The piano gave him a woody... what else needs to be said? ;)

(okay... part of me still exists in 8th grade :p)... sorry, E! ;)

fenderlikingood: Thanks Rick!

A Reel Person: Commercial really? oh no.... :)

Philby_Walsh: The kick hasn't been EQ'd at all so I should be able to give it a bit more definition when I mix this properly. Thanks for the feedback.

Toki987: I'm not sure what this is building towards, just a bunch of tunes. I may do some crossfades between songs when I get them all finished. Be one big 50MB download though. Thanks Toki.

participant: You think it sounds British? I pronounce words differently when I sing then talk, so maybe the influences do come through. The snare is also un-EQ'd, maybe a bit of that might help it, that or I'll sample replace it. Thanks for the listen.

Great tune, Emeric!

Great dynamic, great feel, great air... very well recorded... love the piano sound!

What else to say!!! Wouldn't change a thing............!
