Love it. Got me tappin' my toes and looking forward to summer as well. What mics do you like to use for recording harmonica?

thanks for listening! Recording everything live and with all the instruments in such close proximity, is somewhat of a challenge. I have been through a lot of mics for the vocals/harmonica (I use the same one for both). It seems all work well on on one, but not the other-eq'ing for one messes up the other. Michael Joly and I have become friends and I sent him a used oktave M 219 mic to get his premium upgrade. So, for $100 for the mic and $269 for the upgrade, I have a mic that finally captures both well IMO. The only other that was close was a nueman U87 I borrowed for a bit. I have tried AKG C414's, Beyerdynamic M500 ribbon, Shure 57, RODE's LDC, and a few AT LDC mics. Walter
