Summer Song First Time Dance

Hi guys!


After a long time away (6 years!) from the forum I felt the need to post a (for me) experimental song for you to judge.
This song is a first concept where I play with some dance grooves, I usually like to play and compose rock songs so this was a bit out of the comfort zone, so be gentle!;)

What do you think of the overall sound and feel of this piece?

I would love to know if you guys have some feedback!

This was only a verse and chorus type of concept arrangement. I'm planning to make a full-length dance track out of it but composing dance music in a way to keep it interesting throughout the whole track can turn out to be bit of a challenge, but thanks again for your reply!

Too compressed and limited, to my ears. Correct me if i'm wrong - just sounds like its pushing the limits, no? Otherwise, very cool. Nice sounds and arrangement
 
I turned it off after 2 seconds due to excessive volume. My interface is on 9 o'clock volume, and it still blew out my ear drums.
