Yes, I know I have outstanding recordings to polish, and re post, he says blushing bashfully. Acquiring my first actual physical bass guitar a week or so ago kind of sidetracked me and then the good old UK weather played a blinder and next thing I know I'm learning to play the bass, having not owned one previously. I play a few guitar chords to throb along to and next thing you know I get some lyrics spring to mind. Here they are, suggestions are welcome, as are any other opinions. Always happy to read and think about what others have to offer.
Many thanks
Tim
Summer
V1
You’ve taken everything too far, and I see that you’ve been putting
on your make up and another lacy, insufficient number, while I’m
tumbling over all the things you are.. it’s time for us, we might engage
in something which tastes better than the rain/reign of summer.
Chorus X 3
Unwrap the box in silence, tear the bow and take the cover off.
If you have nothing else to say, I think I might as well be lost
In what you call a game, where losing means it’s time to count the cost..
it’s you.
V2
I’m trapped within your sideways glance, ‘till I take your hand, we’re
dancing to a well versed innuendo written on my chequered past,
Confuse me with your indignation, before the music makes you laugh
And I’m no longer standing in the warm torrential rain of summer.
