A little instrumental I put together.

I use it to practice lead guitar (G blues).

Feel free to comment on the track.

It's mixed well. I might be tempted to say the drums are ovemixed, (to loud), or the bass is to loud, but it's to practice guitar as you say, you probably wouldn't want to pan things to much either, but I'd experiment with panning things just a few percent, to make it more realistic, as to how me hear this live with real instruments.

Please review others ;) , this is how you will learn ... and others will learn from you. Welcome to the board.

Thanks for the welcome, and for the constructive remarks.

Hi there,

Funky little track!

I don't hear a lot of sub 125Hz content on the bass where I would expect it from the slapped bits. May not be on your patch though.

Pan the guitars and other layers - it will make it sound much fuller.

Everything sounds well represented across the spectrum.

The drums at 1:35 were a little too "MIDI" for me. Maybe try taking the 2nd, 4th, 6th etc hits of your rolls and taking the velocity down a tad.

:) Q.
