i am getting pretty good recordings...just wandered if anyone had any thoughts that could maybe do a littel better....i am 19 and have been putting every dime that is not going to a bill into this hobby(it is m ore of a hobby)it is like the funest thing ever

my only suggestion is i could probably , if it were me sell half
of your inventory to release some money and maybe get three key components. a very good sound card if you dont already have one like an rme. for hip hop vocals i might suggest a higher
end beyer microphone. but audition it first before you buy to
see if it really helps you. or maybe a shure sm7 or sennheiser 421
mic. and maybe a higher end mic preamp. like a john hardy that everyone speak s highly of.

Yes, I would suggest another (READ:better) soundcard.

spin

compaq

I would make sure that I have a powerful PC #1.
You can get a good pentium 4, over 2.5 gig, 1g of ram, with plenty of storage (you can get an external firewire 80 gig drive for bouts $150)...
other than that, maybe upgrade everything behringer, and invest in one good pre and condenser mic.
