I just got a myspace for the fuck of it.... so when I opened up an account and looked at it.... it's kind of stupid... reason I opened it is because of everyone has it..gotta jump on the bandwagon lmao. Even businesses and a lot of major people got one.. Mark Cuban gots one for crying out loud.... Anyways, how the hell do you 'customize' it... I have an artist type account thing, and it's www.myspace.com/mindsetentertainmentinc btw

first, you'll probably want to invest in a photobucket account www.photobucket.com for your background pic and other stuff. I custom make my own contact tables so I store that in there too.

Then you'll need the code. If you give me around tomorrow, I'll send you the code I use for mine and show you what some of the basics mean.

Myspace is actually a good networking tool and a good way to get out there...until something better replaces it. You know it's good when companies, major artists and celebrities, and even new movies are using it.

Ya, Myspace is good for networking. You can search google for "Myspace Codes" to customize your page. Youe will have to get to know HTML some what if you want to really flip your page out. But, for simple good changes, try searching for codes and all that good stuff.

Yeah, the only bad thing about myspace is the bandwidth that they stream mp3's at is pretty low, and they come out sounding like your listening through a tin can. I don't know if you can pay and upgrade that, but most people who post music from there on this site sound like shit.
If they allow it, you should use a site like Lightning MP3 and post a link to your stuff on myspace.

You can replace the flash player completely and host your songs at a higher bitrate somewhere else.

I had mine going at 192KBPS.

There's some code for it if you search google.

I got my player from http://www.myflashfetish.com

They have a lot of players to choose from.You have to upload your music files to a site called fileden.com but you can also use that site to host images that you want to post to your myspace.You can store up to 500mb and use 5gb of bandwidth a month.You can upload your music at 320 kbps!!Damn I sound like I'm on commision.But it works for me.
