Hello, need some help! I made a Sub_kick and am having some issues with the wiring. Once the project was completed the Sub-Kick worked great along with my Shure 52 mounted internal with the May micing system but the Signal was so HOT that with the slider down to almost 0 it was peaking out. I tried wiring in a volume POT 3 pin and it had no effect so its obvious I didnt do it right. THe pot had 3 legs I soldered to one outside pin and the middle.
A friend said I need to solder the other wire to the other outside leg and connect it to the body of the the pot.
Would like to get the volume pot working but I'm thinking of bagging it and soldering in resistors unless somebody smarter than me could let me know what I'm doing wrong.
The SUB-Kick really adds alot to the tone of my kick and I read it is good for micing Bass guitar amps also so I really want to get this figured out.
HELP!!
