I have several of those 7 pin cables for all of my tube mics.

Are they interchangeable from one mic to another? I mean, are they always wired with the same pinout? ...Or would you advise keeping the original cable stored with each mic?

Just getting into tubes myself, RB and I thought about the same thing myself. Very briefly though.
There are so many variations & manufacturers that even if the most knowledgeable person here gave it the go ahead, I wouldn't do it.
If I end up with too many tubes, I'll label the chords.

I know power supplies differ from microphone to microphone so my guess would to be to keep the cord with the respectable power supply and microphone. Yet on the other hand I would think that the cord wouldn't matter.

Not the same pinout on all 7 pin cables...many of the Chinese mics are the same, but the Rodes are different...best to label the cables with the name of the mic it goes with...

Mind you, if the pattern is the exact same then it won't be a problem.
But if they are a wee bit out, you could end up bending pins.
Is there a way to identify the plugs?
