Hello again, I am just starting out simple, tried to record 1 audio track (guitar), (track 1 right soundblaster, track 2 left soundblaster), then the same for vocals,, track 3&4..
here are my problems,,track 1&2 bleed into 3&4,(big time!!)
and I cant get rid of the metrodome, even though I dissable it on playback.
Please help me. YOU PEOPLE ROCK!!!!

In your soundcard's mixer window choose "line in" or "mic in" (which ever one you're using).
And I'm not sure what it says on your card but in the mixer window there should be something like "record what you hear" or "mixer input" (something similiar to those) which will record everything that you hear going through you speakers. The inputs from the new instruments and also the outputs of previously recorded instruments are all going to be recorded to the new tracks. So choosing the "line in" or "mic in" will turn the "record what you hear" funtion off and you should be able to record without the bleeding from the other tracks. :)

Hope this helps.
